I'm looking to go to the Alpental area over New Years. Anyone have any ice conditions to report to help me out? We're looking to do NY Gully and Chair's NE Buttress specifically, but any conditions info would be great. Thanks.

Trip: Mount Sefrit - Bloody Head Couloir (NE Couloir) Date: 6/8/2014 Trip Report: We climbed the NE couloir or "Bloody Head Couloir" to the summit of Mt. Sefrit on June 8. Hey, I’m looking for weekend climbing partners in the north Cascades. I’m into alpine climbing of all kinds (scrambles, trad, snow, ice). I’m a pretty intermediate climber I guess, looking to do Baker North Ridge, Icy Peak, Mt. Redoubt NE Face, Sloan Peak, Liberty Bell, Eldorado Peak, ski Rainier… stuff like that. I BC ski also. I have all the gear needed for most anything in the mountains and know how to use it. I’m pretty serious about getting out and actually doing some summits (~2 weekends per month) but I have trouble finding people to go along. My climbing objectives are: 1. be safe 2. have fun 3. make the top 4. drink beer at the bottom
