Clearing out some extra stuff I have accumulated. Open to trades for a women's harness and some semi-auto crampons. Mad Rock climbing shoes US 13 $35.00 - Moderate use, tons of rubber left. 5.10 Anasazi Arrowhead US 13 $65 - Super sticky, comfortable for an aggressive shoe. Moderate use, heel cup doesn't match my feet. La Sportiva Mythos US 11 (44 1/2) $50 - Moderate use, a little too small for me. Black Diamond Momentum AL harness. Size Large. $35 - One season of use. Comfortable all around harness. Fits waist 32-36 adjustable leg loops. Metolious Climbing pants. Size XL (34-38 waist) $20 Sturdy pants, built in belt, some signs of wear, but still great for playing outside. Gregory Serrac 35 Size L $75 - Great crag pack, very comfortable. Is the stopper set the 5-11 or the full 4-13?

I am kind of bummed to be reading this thread at the on-set of winter, you guys have me psyched.

I tried on quite a few a year and a half ago and I went with the Scarpa Triolet. My criteria were similar to yours, and I am happy with the comfort/performance factor. All comes down to the shape of your foot though. Tried on some boots at REI that had outstanding reviews, but fit my foot really awkwardly. Found the Triolets at Feathered Friends. $.02 Good luck.

I was up there yesterday (7/25) with Chirp. There was already a party on MDFB so we jumped on SATR which was a bit dirty but definitely fun. I felt like I was getting eaten alive by biting flies while I was belaying which made it hard to concentrate. I recommend insect repellent and/or long pants depending on how hot it is. Here are a couple of my quick pics from the day. A little clearing at the base would be helpful for sure.

I found a pair of rock shoes that was left behind at Index Monday afternoon (7/11/11). It always sucks to loose gear so if you can tell me the make, model, color, and size of these shoes I will be satisfied that you are the owner and I will get them back to you ASAP.
