  1. Went through the entire gear closet last night, and was surprised to find so much stuff I don't need. The holds I had for sale have been sold. Will ship if buyer pays and goes through PayPal. Here's the link to Craiglist. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/spo/1663418058.html You can PM me here, or go through Craigslist, if you are interested or have questions. Thanks.
  2. Still haven't heard anything back from the seller. Is this thing sold?
  3. What color is the north face jacket?
  4. Wow...this really puts my own climbing into perspective, and drops the ego a notch as well. Makes me want to push it a little harder. Super impressive. Nicely done!
  5. Climbed on my garage wall Saturday. Conditions were ideal. Had an entire rack hanging nearby, but resisted the temptation, and didn't use a single piece of gear all day. After sending several free solo FA's, I went to Subway and ate a footlong chicken bacon ranch. All in all a sick day. ...Fig Newton's are malleable.
  6. Bought some new gear, and trying to make some money back by offing the extras. In the Seattle area. Here's my Craiglist link. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/spo/1607616776.html PM if interested. Thanks.
  7. I am guilty of temporarily turning a snowboard into skiis. Riding a Prior Khyber with Burton Co2's for mellow trips, and using plate bindings and AT boots for the more technical terrain.
  8. There is a wall in Issaquah. Just finished it yesterday. About 275 holds waiting to be put up.
  9. Climbing an unsavory choss pile just because it's never been done, has absolutely no appeal imo. I fully agree with Dane on the first and most important part of a climb being "the line". It should be aesthetic, draw you in for some unknown reason, and then if you're lucky enough to send it, and it's never been climbed before, it's just a huge bonus.
  10. Don't need this stuff anymore. If anyone is looking to start mountaineering, here are the basics. In the Seattle area. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/spo/1483335687.html
  11. Found this in the back of the gear closet last night. I don't have a collection, so I don't really need it. 77cm fiberglass shaft. Brand name and age is unknown. $50.00 or best offer.
  12. LaSportiva Nuptse's really seem to be the answer. Soft enough to ride in, hard enough to climb in. Strap them into the R&D Sparks bindings, and you are all set. Both people I know with this setup are loving it. But....the rolling flats still suck no matter what.
  13. I haven't heard anything bad about the Nuptse's. Several people I know have them, and tell me they work great. I use AT's , but will probably get a pair of these myself. Plus...they cost a little less than the Spantik. http://www.sportiva.com/products/prod/232

  17. Thanks. This guy had a bunch of people willing to buy all his gear at once. I just happened to be the first. At least this way, several people can get fair gear deals, instead of one person hoarding it all. I think the camalots, and pitons are spoken for.
  18. I did buy this off a guy from Craigslist yesterday. He's legit. I met him at his house,(he's an experienced climber)and he hooked me up with a good deal, in order to finance a trip this weekend. Is there something wrong with trying to make a buck? These prices are still good.
