This seems overly complicated, considering that raw milk cheese is easily accessible from domestic sources, and quite legal (assuming it's aged at least 60 days).

My uncle is a dairy farmer. I've tasted plenty of raw milk. Anybody who claims it tastes any different is full of shit. However, nonhomogenized milk does indeed taste MUCH better -- creamier, etc. This is probably why people think raw milk tastes better. But, you can buy pasteurized, nonhomogenized milk, it's quite common. It tastes EXACTLY THE SAME. And doesn't have the bacteria. I don't care if people want to drink raw milk. But don't make fucking retarded claims about it and how it tastes just SOOOOO MUUUUUCCHH BETTTTEERRR.

I read the article, and it didn't mention any of these things. It didn't mention re-education camps, or even arrests (or even prosecutions). It also didn't mention scanning internet postings. It suggested the technology might be used at immigration, and hinted it was related to pupil dilation, and heart rate/blood pressure. Presumably to indicate who should get a more thorough inspection? It certainly didn't even suggest that anybody would be arrested based on this test, nor that it was foolproof or even accurate. Of course, I fully understand that even that might be too much for those of a libertarian bent, but it still didn't mention any of the horror stories you just made up there. It certainly didn't suggest anything even remotely related to thought crimes. Did it? Maybe you should post the quote that gave you the impression this had anything to do with thought crimes. That way I can see what I missed.
