  2. For all those who like Norrona, check the gear swap. I am passing along some steep and cheap deals, before I return them.
  3. We are thinking of taking the older scouts up to Rainier this year to work on some glacier rescue stuff. We are looking to outfit the boys with their own crampons. I know we could just rent, but a lot of the boys have shown interest in actually climbing peaks at some point. PM me if you have any extra crampons lying around that you would like to sell. Thanks a bunch.
  4. Let me know what you have and how much... Grivel and BD preferred, but CAMP is ok too... Thanks.

  7. Depends on the time of year.
  8. looking forward to the review.
  9. That $135 is a steal. If you cannot get to a store, or if your local store does not have them on clearance... use code jantra2 online and get the peak xv for $180 shipped. (if you do not live in washington, then you save even more... you don't have to pay tax.) The guys at Backpackinglight have run tests and say that this jacket is approximately 1 degree colder than the FF frontpoint. Obviously FF craftmanship and quality are unquestioned. This is just a silly price for a great jacket.
  10. Bump. The cilogear 45 is now available.

  16. A good review... not too detailed, but you can get a general idea of what can fit in it. http://www.rockclimbing.com/Articles/Gear_and_Reviews/Osprey_Talon_33_Editorial_Review_754.html
  17. maybe... it does have a rope catch... a small alpine rack would be fine... tools on outside... crampons in pouch on outside stretch panel.... should work just fine. I'll let you know for sure after mine arrives.
  18. You shouldn't have any problems.
