If we do not work for a company that has a health and dental care plan then we pay for medical insurance. It is basic insurance and the premium depends upon your marital status, how many kids etc. It does cover you for everything. You can also get extended health care which covers all sorts of things such as eye prescriptions health care coverage in other countries and a host of other stuff, like prescriptions, dental care etc. The cost is not huge, but there is a cost. If you happen to be on welfare or a first nations native then that is covered by the people of British Columbia and Canada.

We have been using vacuum packed tuna made by cloverleaf mixed into mr noodles with curry paste. The tuna lasts at least a year in the pack and is very thin to pack. The wrapper folds up to nothing.

From a foreign point of view I think that for the US to dig it's way out of where it is at it needs to regain credibility with the rest of the world. It seems that Obama may do that. McCain is a member of the party that got you into this schmozzle, and does not seem to be much different than Bush.
It seems like there is only one issue here and that is the war and how you got there.
The rest are non issues, just complicating, and muddying the waters.

Yes but you are still stuck with the decision and while I used to think McCain was OK way back, when he looked like more of a voice of reason. I realized that in the midst of that group of crazies anyone could look good. Obama just seems smart enough to make some good decisions. Nobody is going to be able to steer your ship straight for a lot of years after what has happened in the last eight but at least with Obama it won't be the ferryman across the Styx.

Obama seems like a statesman more than a politician which is a good thing in these times. But he has to deal with what US politics have become, which is a sideshow.

Public Health care is fucking great!!!! I have NO worries for anyone in my family whether it is my 82 year old mother with MS. My 84 year old father who had a massive stroke at 68, My kids my wife, or for that matter anybody I know or will ever know EVER having to sell the farm because of illness of any kind, NO MATTER WHAT. how can that be bad in ANY way. It is just that easy.
