Check out this crazy watch... TISSOT T-TOUCH ...its ~700$ and has a compass, thermometer, weather function, and a altimeter that goes to 9000m...and it has a snazzy touch screen! My question....when you are at or near 9000m who in the name of Samhain is taking their gloves off to use it?

Free Soloing....Hot or Not?

I want to get some alpine boots that I can use in the winter/cold. My requirements are warmth, durability, waterproofness, and light weight. I would prefer single boots to plastic doubles. Mostly I will use for alpine ice snow and rock...and some waterfall cragging. Advice and/or opinions appreciated. Thanks
