    APPLE KEYNOTE

no one knows. Not even them.
  2. Cripper and I climber Round River, masipial traverse then 4 sporto routes on the north side of mini half dome then up mini half dome then another 10- on the other side of mini half dome. 19 pitches in all (as the book would tell it). Pretty cool area. Gotta love the marsups
  3. You are bold to put your # on this site.
  4. This climb is a Smith Rock in the Marsupials. It is a combination of a few different routes and summits. Very cool. Very easy and exposed. I did this climb on 10/07/06 and would repeat it anytime. The best way to do it is to hike you pack to the rappel at the top and rack up. Run down and climb the 5-8 pitches back up to your packs. Then off to more great climbing in the Marsup’s. Round river is also a classic, just across the way. If you climb Round river first with your packs on, then you are even with were the rap is on the Marsupial Traverse. Just walk across the hill and proceed. This gets you about 11 pitches in before lunch.
  5. Like anyone actualy watches the Probowl.
  6. Maybe he broke his G string!
  7. You know what the best thing about the super bowl is? Is that there will be no more football.
  8. Put one there and that will determine it.
  9. Yep. I think I just got dumber watching that for 3 minutes, my brain hurts now. You actually watched it for 3 minutes? OMG
  10. Yes that would be bad. Obviously by reading your response, you don’t know the situation out at Beacon. The climbers are scapegoats and this probably wont change. My friend (pink) rapped into the nest a few years back and pulled out of the nest a snickers bar rapper and a Pepsi can. Climbers do not usually carry either of these items. These things got there by pedestrians throwing there trash off the trail that is only 200 feet from the nest. So, in my opinion, the hikers are much more of a threat than the climbers. There are about 200 hundred climbers that visit Beacon every year. About 600,000 people climb up the trail to the top of Beacon every year. You tell me which user group has a better chance in spoiling the nesting season? The Beacon situation is unique to its own. We have been working with the rangers for years to resolve it. Its very touchy.
  11. Yes, they are a good thing when handled correctly. When they are not, we/climbers become bitter about it. If the Perergine's are not endangered anymore? Why close the rock? To preserve what? Keep in mind, I am ONLY bitter at the situation a Beacon. Other than that, for the most part I support the closures.
  12. Oh sorry, I think he is on tour.
  13. Yes they have, unfortunately that does not matter. Climbers will still be scapegoats at Beacon. If the Bird bioligist were true to there word about closing bird nesting sites down then the Freemont bridge and some of the bank towers in down town Portland would close. Of course this will never happen. signed: bitter
  14. MMM....I wonder. He has not been posting of late. Maybe he is using his "other" avatar? Steven where are you? Make me laugh bitch! Whooya!!! Karate chop!!!
  15. AlpineK, your kidding right? Not if the last pitch was the best single pitch in Squamish would I do this. Half the fun of climbing the LAST pitch is that it is the last pitch of many to summit. Just my thoughts.
  16. Dude, dont you know, you never go ass to mouth.
