Definitely the very best of Smith Rock climbing. IMO.

no denying it's either of those, but by those standards, how can it beat, say, outerspace? I have climbed Outerspace. I thought the last 400 was cool. but the rest of it was very mediocre. And the walk off is crap. There fore blownout is better.

Isnt the "top five" a personal opinion? What can I say? I am a beacon ho......got to have it. I have gotten out. Before 2006 I climbed all the fing time. I still prefer beacon to alot of the listed climbs above.

shouldn't the "best crack" actually require you to jam it though? Maybe on your book. the best to me is just plain fun, and well protected.

Your forgetting one.... 4). Yes...its ok to keep your draws on a project, but dont be pissed when someone takes them because you abandoned them.

Ozone was packed today. Probably 50 or 60 climbers. Nice thing about it.....ozone handled it nicely.....

The falcons nesting is irrelevant. There were multiple years where the birds did not nest. Did the rock open? NO. There for one could extrapolate that the nesting of the birds is irrelevant. If the birds nest, the rock will close. If the birds don’t nest the rock will close. This is not a troll. It is the truth.
