  8. Are you serious? Let me let you know how many civil law suits I have been a part of, on either side. Or for that matter any thing pertaining to law suits of any kind. Or criminal behavior or really anything that has to do with the court systems. ZERO. So with this knowledge of me. Why do you think I would know about it? I don’t remember wrongful death law suites in school. High school or college. Sorry, what was that you were saying? I don't think Kevbonehead has finished 7th grade yet - you know, when you learn about libraries and how to look stuff up - research and all that.
  9. Never mind that. This issue was discussed ad nauseaum on the news for at least a year. And you can simply Google to find this info in about 10 seconds. Kevbone:
  10. damages for what? I mean he was aquitted. How could he be sued. For what? go crawl back under your rock, nOOb Sorry, I thought you were able to carry on a conversation. I was wrong. Anybody else know anything about law? How could OJ be responsible for the deaths? How could he be sued (and lose) a wrongful death suit? Assuming he did not do it (which is crap) how could he be held responsible and pay 35 mil? What up? Dude, where the hell have you been? I am amazed at how truly clueless you are. But, I'll help you out. Click here for the answers to your questions.

  13. Its a little tarnished. That's what Bubba said, and asked to get it buffed...
  14. From Wikipedia: Simpson was ordered to pay $33,500,000 in damages. However, California law protects pensions from being used to satisfy judgments, so Simpson was able to continue much of his lifestyle based on his NFL pension. A 2000 Rolling Stone article reported that Simpson also still makes a significant income by signing autographs. He subsequently moved from California to Miami, Florida. In Florida, a person's residence cannot be seized to collect a debt under most circumstances.
  15. You mean that cheap bastard didn't use the funds from selling his Heisman and all that other crap to go to the families? they got his Heisman and other stuff and it was auctioned, if I recall correctly.
  16. run, Juice, run!!
  17. double jeopardy of course doesn't include civil suits...
  18. Apparently he's still too busy looking for the "real killers"...
  19. You'll get Reagan and Clinton eventually... I think Nixon is the one that will cause some people the most conniptions though.
  20. but ...look what we get in 2016!
  21. wow, titties. yeah, definitely got to move there. can't see those anywhere in the states.
  22. how does tasing the fuck out of someone "make them leave"? it looked like it had the opposite effect - he squirmed in pain and thrashed out with his limbs. just pick the fucker up and carry him out. SoCal police in general are militaristic assholes, and these rent-a-cops are apparently no better.
  23. The premise being posited is that because one person died, the cables encourage people to climb Half Dome who shouldn't be, and if we take the cables down it will somehow save lives. I think more people would die if you took the cables off, which would negate that premise. Moreover, one death out of thousands who go up and down those cables every year hardly warrants this (over!)reaction. Furthermore, as has been pointed out, the person who died was on half dome outside the normal hiking season when the cables were already "down" for the winter, and suggesting this was no "touron" who "didn't belong there". For the hiker/climber who died: requiescat in pace.
