He said he's got reservations for Schurmann, so I assume he means the Emmons route. Nevertheless, that route is plenty busy, and yes, he probably could hook up with another group. The Emmons route is about as straightforward as it gets, I would strongly consider making a go of it!

hmm. I recall that weekend sucking last weekend in the forecast. we climbed SilverStar instead as a consolation prize, and the weather sucked the whole way driving up (Sat). Last year Memorial Day weekend would have been awesome. Oh well, 3-4 more weekends left...

Another option: talk to your boss and tell him/her that the overtime is killing you and you are burning out. Arrange a deal where you will absolutely not work more than 45 hours a week until you are feeling back on an even keel, and then only work more on *rare* occasions (preferably with comp time afterwards).
