I've always found that the best way to convince someone is to first irritate them. It opens their mind up, and facilitates free thinking.
Of course, you can over do irritating people as well as anything, so you've got to guard against that as well.
I do the same thing, but change irritate to irrigate. A good golden shower opens up the mind nicely.

Or maybe they realized that when the rationale to go to war was changed from "Iraq is an imminent threat" to "Spreading democracy around the world," they didn't really care about democracy. They just kept supporting it as a nice "fuck you" to the anti-war folks.

Teabagging will do that to you, RUMR.

Are they open early?
like 4 or 5 am. Early enough to stop off if you need to be at TLine at 6am. I go for the sugar donuts.
Joe's is the place to eat for sure.
Also, the WOOD VILLAGE exit is the one to take off of I-84. Take a right at the stop sign and stay on that road until you get to Burnside. Take a left on Burnside and it's a straight shot over the pass. And definitely be on the lookout for cops between Sandy and Gov't Camp as mentioned earlier. Have fun

That's really cool to see two great shops coming to what seems like a great agreement

The article doesn't say where he's from, but how many middle-aged Carl Skoog alpinists could there be? Condolensces to Lowell.
I just looked up an Outside article that lists Carl's age at 41 - in 2000. Pretty definite that it's him .
-
The article basically says that after 2 successful descents on the mountain they went to try again, he had an accident and hit his head on a rocky formation. The slope was 60 degrees. I'm not sure what date this is, but it says they're bringing his body down on Saturday.
My condolences

How old are you, Greta? If you don't know Teddy Ruxpin, I'm guessing you're either under 24 or over 60.

Sorry, OJ snuck one in while I was posting.

I read it in some car magazine while on the shitter in a logging camp.
Before or after rubbing one out to the cover girl?
Edit: Clever dog, nice little stealth edit. Took you a few minutes to come up with a better response, eh?

Modern automatics (since about 2001) get better gas mileage than stickshifts do.
Where'd you get that? I just went to the EPA website and checked out your claim. Most of the cars I looked at (all types), automatic is worse than or equal to stick shift economy. A couple of exceptions were the Subaru Outback and Honda Civic. Other than that, stick has its automatic counterpart beat by 1-2mpg.

I'd love to know how the Palmer snowfield is covering up, so I can bring some skis up when I tag along one of these times. Please let me know how it's looking. Thanks in advance

Too bad you just gave up, Mike. I happen to know a number of beautiful, smart, single women in Portland. Oh well.

Remeber to reinforce your backside to avoid those "surprise visits"!
I was going to be the horse

My Enumclaw costume is still in its planning stages. If I get it done in time, pictures will follow. No video though.

OLCC.
Just a little ways down, on the right, there's a product list (I didn't link to it because it's a pdf). This is a list of all alcoholic beverages the OLCC allows to be sold in Oregon, as far as I know. This doesn't mean that every liquor store is going to have it in stock, but you can call and ask for it.
-
I just checked the OLCC website, the only pernod they have is called "Pernod Anise Liqueur."

Mike,
There's a place by my work that sells all kinds of beer and weird wines. I'll take a look on my lunch break and let you know.

Replace the candy you take with condoms (not used).

Agreed. I'd kick his ass if I was tough and could find him.
