  1. Don't be a jackass. Why are you limiting to lefties? I think we have to fear people on both ends of the spectrum. Give one extreme the power and you're screwing over half the country. The other extreme, the other way around. KK, you love to shit on the hard left point of view and blame everything on liberals. Do you think everything would be just peachy in this country if hard-line right wing conservatives were in power?

  2. That's so goddamn nasty. I'll keep the mucous lining in my bunghole intact, thank you very much. There are some things I've shat that have made me proud/happy/relieved. . . if I saw this in the toilet I'd be scared enough that I lost something important that I might just try to cram it back in.

  3. He could have said If you abort every baby in the country the crime rate would go down and it would make the same point without the racist subtext.

Is it still racist if it's statistically correct? So, basically, nobody can say anything about the crime rate of any minority racial group because saying it (even if it's true) would be racist?

I don't think it's racist to address racial components of crime statistics. It's a completely different story to start talking about eliminating that race as a crime stopper. If someone talks like that and he's not racist, he's simply a complete fucking idiot for thinking he said nothing improper. Hey, if we kill all the Jewish babies, maybe there would be some more money for us. Sound familiar?

  4. If this isn't obvious to most people, many companies have a lot invested in product development. This means that the company has spent a considerable amount of time and money developing and marketing a product. All the ripoffs have to do is copy said product and sell it for a little more than it costs to make. The innovator has to keep a higher price to try to recoup the development costs.

That business model isn't so applicable to the Outdoor industry where a very small budget goes to R & D, and a very large budget goes to marketing.

It's also funny how little the Chinese government does to curb these practices, but then supports protections of Chinese IP. I saw this recently in a story that advertising giant Weiden & Kennedy was ruled against in a Chinese court for developing a commercial with similar artwork to a Chinese artist. They had to pay up and stop running the ad.

  6. Oooooh oooooooh! I just remembered a better one! I was biking in the hills of L.A. one morning and saw RICHARD GRIECO coming out of a house!!! He smiled and said "What's up?" That was awesome!

  7. I've been thinking lately that there is room for intelligent design teaching in the classrooms. It won't take any time away from teaching evidence-based evolution, because it takes about 30 seconds to teach ID: "On the other hand, it could've all been created by some other thing. Instantly." End of lesson.
