  1. GoLytely upon the infidels, for they know not what they spew!
  2. I'm suggesting the delusions of grandeur are those of a fisher broken by a catch of no fish.
  3. As is the critical thinking you sometimes exhibit, the physiological sequence you describe for yourself is one of a person who is clinically brain dead. Yet I've no doubt that you fit right in with those people for whom you express contempt. Tell me, was it difficult to maintain civility when standing in line with people who appeared so shamelessly distanced from the truly important matters of the day? At the coffee shop, people speak in response to the latest mainstream news and say, "How sad the story of Anna Nicole has turned out to be!" Meanwhile, in response to the latest report from the think-tank, you reflect, "Multinational forces of the coalition are victorious!" Now, consider these facts: The death of Anna Nicole is real. The existence of the "Multinational Coalition" is not. Room for cream, sir?
  4. Excerpt from a story on the Office of Special Plans, and other things, published over one year ago:
  5. Is this PTSD, the countenance a noobie fascist, or both? Either way, it's surely a morbid sight to watch from afar the spiral nosedive of a man going down in flames.

It's an unfortunate twist of fate that brings me the news that a buddy died from complications of polio last week. He acquired the disease in America when he was 9 years old -- in the 1950s, before there was a vaccine. IMO, this thread is concluded.
  9. And here I was going to say the Iraqi election of 2005 was an incredibly expensive purchase!

  11. Finally, Congress is asking about the billions in shrink-wrapped $100 bills that went to pay-offs by the Bush crime family in Iraq back in January of 2005. And that ain't all: The Seattle Times

Only if you played while in an iron lung.
  13. In the event of impeachment or criminal prosecution, where Bush goes Cheney is sure to follow. Thus, the next in the line of succession is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

I advocate the development of a vaccine against having sex while stupid (SWS). Such a vaccine, if implemented, could prevent the innumerable tragedies caused by SWS, such as the situation whereby a child in need of immunizations has Kevbone for a parent. What more can I say?
  16. I see. Ok, do you suppose Canada would be interested in a deal for Kevbone and pink? (I'm thinking we might be able to overlook the snafflecow incident, you know, quid pro quo.)
  17. Ok, so we don't have any real Smarties. But we got lots of real Americans! Whaddaya say? Can we work something out or what?
  18. We in America must engage Canada at once in bilateral trade talks that will resolve the unfair distribution of Smarties and the metric system. While detractors from my proposition will say more aggressive action is called for, we must remember to first pursue a diplomatic solution before we beat the drums of war. That said, Canada should understand that the patience of Americans, although great, is not without its limits.
  19. Meanwhile, ExxonMobile dollars are going out to pay off $10,000 each to scientists who will agree to dispute the findings published yesterday in the latest major climate change report: Guardian Unlimited
  20. And now, 31 January 2007, Germany has ordered the arrest of 13 suspected CIA agents over the alleged kidnapping of one of its citizens: BBC News The question still remains: As outrage overseas continues to mount, will the German Federal Prosecutor go forward with the war crimes charges that have been filed there against Rumsfeld, Gonzales, et al? And if this capital prosecution is pressed against the Bush administration in Germany, will the exposure it brings to the United States Congress compel it to launch impeachment proceedings here at home? And will that, in turn, lead to the first domestic criminal prosecution of an American President? One can always hope for the best.
  21. A little off topic but no less amusing, New York City has banned McDonald's, as it is, with the current crop of fries to be unlawful starting this July, and pretty much everything else later on: "New York City passes trans fat ban"
  22. Damn, here in the middle of all the spray I am reminded, my plans for this day included spending several hours in the Health Sciences Library. I'd planned to be there already, and now its past 2:00! What happened? How was I distracted? Let's see...first I logged on to cc.com for a quick lurk, then checked on Spray. Next thing, I ran across something about KK getting his mushroom picked (by his grandfather?) and before I realized it I was wasting a perfectly good afternoon reading Seagawk upchuck a story about how the half-life of Carbon-14 just proves that the Grand Canyon was made in a day. Details escape me, because as I read onward through the mist I dreamed about how fucking cool it would have been to be there in a kayak when all the water came down. Enter the breaking wave, Foraker asks for data and references and expresses a preference for science journals when it comes to reading about science. Right then, my whole bubble bursts like the Colorado cutting through a continent in a second. Shit, I'm outta here.
  23. While nobody will say it's wrong for Canada to discontinue its tradition of circumsizing, burning, and throwing acid on women, we must continue to insist that Canada stop supporting the snafflecow insurgency immediately.
  24. We can reasonably expect the snafflecows to launch an assault upon Ebey Slough by early spring, with hopes to capture the abundant grasses there to fuel an occupation of Everett by the end of summer.
