I would just go with a d70. slide scanners are super pricey if you want high quality, and then you have to make prints from slides anyway which sucks. And getting everything developed adds up too, 10 rolls of slide film from a long trip....? I take tons of pictures, so for me there is no point in shooting film anymore, though I still do have my slr, haven't used it since I got my d70.

It is also signed, "Sincerely Yours, Joseph Payne" It is about Payne and his wife travelling through inner mongolia in the mid 30's. the gf kicks ass!
