  2. any photo you can get would be useful.

Not exactly what you asked for, but it will get you started till some proper shots show up Dave. Taken from the 5,000 foot level looking North at the South side. Taken last month (Oct 2016) on the last trip up to Tower Rock with Ivan and Geoff. It had snowed and then melted at the 5,000 foot level.

and the last part, after lost city, they believe dates back to 5,316 BCE and could have been part of the first capital of one of the earliest Egyptian empires. ...

So it was the quotation marks around lost city that were copied and pasted led to the entire post being blank. Despite it appearing perfect in preview.

  4. crap

    A lost city

OK, found the issue, the blank post above this one has those very words in it, along with Quotation marks that were copied and pasted. Removing the " marks and I get text. Now we're getting somewhere. Woot!

a “lost city” they believe dates back to 5,316 BCE and could have been part of the first capital of one of the earliest Egyptian empires. ...

Interesting. I'll try parts of it. 1st part of the 3rd part:

While we were stuffing our faces with mashed potatoes this past Thursday

3rd part did not post. It was simply a quote, I will try and put it up without the symbols which are normally utilized to indicate it's a quote.

For now, olde farts 62 and older can buy a lifetime pass to national forest and parks for $10 (plus $10 shipping and handling if you internet buy it). I have mine coming right now! It's official, I'm old. My wife didn't know this and bought a year pass for $80 bucks when we went to Toulemne in August. Some recent Beacon Rock Ujahn celebratory blab:
