Opinions are like assholes, eveyone has one. My vote goes to the Mt. shop on NE Broadway. I suggest going to all of the shops in town and find one that works for you.
A group of 5 of us went down there last year. It was probably one of the best skiing days I have had.
At the time they had two cats. They split you up into two groups and for the most part you don't see the other group at all. Make sure you get hooked up with a group that really wants to ski. Lukely we got in with a good group. Buy the end of the day we had skied two more runs than the other group.
It is expensive but well worth it.
Has anyone been up to Meadows in the last couple days? I was wondering about the conditions. Thinking about going up on Saturday. If anyone wants to go up let me know.
I got a Mchale pack a couple years ago. It is the best pack I have owned. Not only are you buying a quality product, you are also supporting a local business.
I am planning on buying the Tua crossride 110, Dynafit TLT 700, and the Dynafit bindings. I am interested in the turns more than the hole AT experience. Any info would be great.
Hands down my Mchale Alpineer pack has been the best pack I have owned. Yes it was a little spendy and a little heavy but it is the most comfortable pack to carry a load. I have used it on trips ranging from the Wonderland Trail to Mt Adams.
Need to get together at least 10 people for a discounted ten time pass at Meadows. The pass is normaly 325.00. If I can get ten people together the price is 275.00 each. This deal is good for a couple more weeks. If anyone is interested let me know.
I lost my pass this weekend and went to REI to get a knew one and was told that the pass was not required because it is a test. Is this true and do I need to puchase another one?
Has anyone had any luke finding a Dr? The few Dr. I have been to are alright but never seem to go the extra mile for me. How have you found your Drs and can you recomend one.
