  1. Where is the location? A couple caves have been developed off and on over the last 15 years
  2. what grades were you looking at?
  3. they should really fix that route with permadraws...it is one of the best climbs at little si
  4. they should fix that climb with perma draws so every one can enjoy it
  5. If your gonna a make a new trail. it might be easier to go past the old trail about a mile and go over the river on a bridge and back track on the crag side of the river. I remember an old hunters tent that way so there might be a small trail. Its about 5 minutes longer, but you dont have to cross the river. All that fixed tat held my falls when i did those routes 7-8 years ago, so they must be still good. or just put new webbing on. if you go out there, i left a rope up, feel free to use it, its still good. i remember some potential for new climbs on left side of "the deep end", but my memory might be fading. josh
  6. Frank, Hey, i know ben g is up in horne lake right now and he says it is bone dry. It has some quality 11a and up josh
  7. Frank, Don't you need to finish off orgasmitron as well
  8. hmmm....i donno about these draws...they seem hard to grab.. i like the nylon or better yet a piece of rope with a knot in it. I have tried to get up routes with these draws on it and they are really hard to rodeo clip when you are half way up the wall. i like old weathered draws that are so stiff they stick out from the wall and beaners that stick open so you can clip them faster
  9. i was hiking up there sunday and saw some dude from colorado with a beard and looked like he was cleaning alot of the draws off the routes. he kept mumbling about being kicked out of smithrock for some reason.
  10. hell ya...fixed draws. I can use the smith rock motto now. 1 year to toprope my project into submission. 1 year to redpoint. if i don't redpoint then i have to take a year off and then repeat
  11. andy, thanks for the confirmation about bolting. I researched the bolting issue years ago and thought it ok. I didnt know if anything changed. I bolted a great line in between the sickness and paradise lost. It is about 12d to the half way point(1st set of anchors) the extension is a couple grades harder. The other line is to the right of the sickness, it goes straight up and right through the middle of orgasmitron and heads out right. it is about 12c.... on another note... there is also development at the lost exit 38 cave. the steepest rock around. josh
  12. rcnw.net has a topo. josh
  13. thanks, I got that. I hoping someone had the old yoder guide or something like that.
  14. Does anyone have the topo for the ottoman empire or anything on the fossil wall. I was out there today and the fossil wall is quite impressive. 100' to 150' high, slightly overhanging with plenty of roof features all the way up. the whole wall is 200' wide. Josh
  15. Exit 32 probably has a few dry route
