I'm new to icefall climbing though I'm experienced in alpine ice and rockclimbing. Have hit vertical ice a few times and LOVED IT AND WANT MORE.For lack of a partner who can lead ice I'm looking to get out and TR this weekend to try and get my feet under me before taking on leading. Sunny day, alpine climb, with glacier travel approach and a multi-pitch crack climb to the summit. Paraglide off the summit and land in a field by my tent where dinner and a whiskey await. (yeah, yeah, so carrying all that gear on a paraglider might be a bit tricky...but hey what's a fantasy for, anyhow?)
