  1. Just received a pair of Miuras yesterday (8/1) from Jumarnet.com. I ordered 7/14 via regular shipping. Took about two weeks to get here but costed me $87.50 including shipping ($7.50) and saved almost $60 (if I were to buy them at REI). Gotta love the online shopping!

  3. Yeah, looks like it's gonna be a hot one. Probably not a good idea climbing C-spur. Well, have fun at the coast, sketch! Perhaps hook up with you and b-rock next week at R.B.. Let me know what your plan is.
  4. Anyone interested in climbing Hood or Adams this weekend? I am up for Cooper Spur, Sunshine, or Mazama glacier depending on the weather. ----------------------------------------------- It's all about fun.
  5. I only have slides and no prints. Love to show you guys the slides but sorry I don't think I could make it tonight. Maybe some other night.
  6. Can't make it either. Got a hot date tonight. Anyone interested in an outing to Rocky Butte next Tuesday after work? We could have another P-C after climbing. Anyhow, you guys have fun tonight!
  7. How about at Lompoc on NW 23rd? They have all day happy hour on Mondays...
  8. Has anyone been on Adams glacier recently? How is climbing condition?
  9. There weren't any old boot tracks on those places except the tracks made by us and a group of four who were below us on the face and eventually descended by traversing to the west of the summit pyramid. Hell's highway is moderate in steepness and safer to come come down but takes longer (~1/2hr?) and requires 400-500ft gain compared with dropping down via Hourglass. We intended coming down on the Hourglass but what we came down turned out to be the Highway...for better or worse. It's a really fun climb and hope to do it again later this year with the alpine ice setting.
  10. Well, I just blew three weeks of my vacation time climbing Denali and looks like I have to remain as a weekend warrior for the whole summer. Generally I am free on Sunday so shoot me PM if you need a partner.
  11. I hear ginkgo helps. Check out the website below. http://www.ismmed.org/np_altitude_tutorial.htm
  12. Hey Rob, It's Dave who bought your cobra. Shoot me an email when you are planning to go up. (Unfortunately, I can't go this week but maybe next week.) BTW, the Tele-Tuesday at Ski Bowl is on tomorrow night.
  13. Sorry, I didn't make it yesterday. But I'll up for next Tuesday evening. Dave
