I made the stupid mistke of letting my guard down on a descent. I had let snow accumulate under my crampons and slipped above the last technical pitch (100ft.WI3) Took a long ride, complete with "this is it" thoughts in the head. Attended Steve's presentation last night @ WWU. WOW TOTAL BADASS, duh. Topics included Washburn Wall, Father and Sons, Cech Direct and others. He spent quite a bit of time talking about his approach to Alpinism, etc. but when the slides started he let them (and some kinda bad music) speak for themselves. Oh yeah, I guess Mark Twight isn't such a hate monger afterall.
