...we need someone to anti organize the denial of the full moon with the non climbing sectors of the Northwest, and Marylou's efforts will be much appreciated, if she can officially get the Washington Trails Association officially behind this anti full moon non organization, SPHINX... can you help with the anti organization committee as our outreach coordinator? You really won't have to do too much! and the tape goes in booty bags to be given to those attendees that deny the full moon even exists for the duration of the festival! any other anti event ideas will be appreciated! please, keep spraying your opinions, this helps keep a grasp on what disorganization is all about for this anti festival we're currently not throwing in October-

I'm worthless and weak and even Teddy Ruxpin won't climb with me anymore! and I lived in a ghetto trailer park with sandy dirt streets by a swamp once- we had gators in the back yard. One of my first girlfriends, back when I was 17,18 she lived in a trailer. I dropped her on her face once, carrying her back to the trailer after she passed out at the bar or in my room, i can't remember... She's dead now. She died at the Alpine Lodge the night she fell off the wagon and drank her usual, a 1.75 liter jug of Seagramms Seven- drank herself to death in one night. sorry, Karen, sometimes life is too short, girl.

..a Miox pen will make snafflehound piss safe to drink, dru! ...100 rolls of MSR duct tape for giveaways just pledged by MSR/CD yesterday, in addition of a stove and etc, trango sent a bunch of stuff earlier (maybe marylou could win a stonewear top if she enters the anti event raffle by dropping her pseudonym in the Old Post Office drop box) any planning suggestions for the anti ropeup are still appreciated!
-
...we're still going to need lots of help disorganizing the anti festival, marylou, so the ropeup is counting on YOU! to rally all the folks at Washington Trails Association to get the nonclimbers behind not being behind the anti party... We need your help Marylou, can you help? We really want to get the non climbers firmly behind the rallying cry to deny the light of the full moon, and all sorts of disorganized non events not being held in any official capacity that weekend... where are we not showing up again? I'm a little confused about all this!
-
...dave, it's no use trying to use reason on an internet bulliten board, I thought you would have realized this by now... so, the anti ropeup anti planning disorganization organizers are all welcome to attend, we will have a special area reserved to have them not collectively rally against rallying for having fun in the mountains under the light of the full moon... Time warner/AOL poll now indicates we need to disinvite the full moon from the party, so I guess that's what we'll just have to do then!! it's now the "cascade climbers officially disorganized deny the light of the full moon festival!"

.. I'm in the middle of reading several books, but the most impactful one right now is "Its not who you are, but who you want to be" by some brit- phaedon press- and "peter pan in Kensington gardens" the short, by J.M. Barrie but i write more than i read nowadays anyhow, with two book projects and a newspaper to write every month..

...the planning committee has been considering changing the name of the event to "dirtbag climbers oficially disorganized get togther" or "climbers get drunk anti-organized festival" but we're waiting for feedback from the results of an AOL.COM/ time werner gallup poll... and we've enlisted Marylous help thru the WTA to make sure nonclimbers get a chance to protest the event as well...

marylou, I've heard rumors teddy r is going to ask you out..and if you were resonable last night, I'm E.F. Hutton!

well, marylou, it was only a reaction to your thumbs down and raspberry, coupled with the fact I have a group marriage in Vernal, Utah, between trask, teddy and myself that doesn't include you in the union. but that old news, and we should move on. we all grow older, and life's too short to hold a grudge, dontchyathink?
-
well, a chair throwing contest it is! do we have it before, or after, the "Ropeup Slam" haiku competition?
-
after the free food, the slide presentations and the gear giveaway and raffle, we're going to have a "Ropefest Slam" before heading off to climb in the light of the full moon.. but people are still free to relax and organize a counterorganization damming the sunday morning pancake breakfast!
-
... and we've decided to set aside a little room at the Bridge Creek group campsite for "cc.commers who officially protest the Ropeup" so they can counter organize against organization all weekend long... They will be allowed to buy raffle tickets anonomously via a drop box set up at the Old Post Office for contact info...
-
officially, Teddy Ruxpin is the only CC.commer uninvited to the 2003 Cascade Climbers Rope Up....

...marylou is such a gem, you can see why we'd want her there... to be correct, after she gave it the big frown and a thumbs down last night, I only suggested maybe she didn't want to attend, since she's so against the thing.. I guess its like complaining about a free party, then whining because shes mentioned how against it she is, and thinks she isn't invited (because that's not the case, its open to all (but again, it really doesn't sound like her cup of tea. Mary lou's employer throws a big trail hoohaw that is a real company and sponsored event, maybe that's more her style...) what marylou, do you want llama rides like you guys did at WTA? we'll try to get you llama rides, marylou... nonetheless, she shure does have a certain something in her personality, that makes me want to... Oh, mary lou, I think I love you! I'll be your water boy bitch forever, drop Teddy, stop climbing and take up hiking just for you, marylou! and why do you use a fake name in here, Marylou?
-
marylou, you are a GEM of integrity on this site- but make sure to actually test the things you are reviewing?? because if you haven't found out the first need purifier ( the best mech filter IMO) clogs faster than any of the others (because of the small pore size) and that the MIOX pen brews up about what MICROPUR actually is, and very similar to aquamira, I really don't understand why they let you review things!!! but I'll bet a lot of hikers listen to you.
-
sounds like you all are planning something really great, more power to you! looks like sometimes things come togther no matter who's organizing it!
-
...interesting, mary lou knows i don't attend the market, yet she PMed me for contact info about the MIOX pen for an article she's doing... nice two face gurl!
-
... the chinooks work pretty good, last time I flew in them... (And Dana Gleason sells packs to the Navy Seals, sometimes the military knows what they're doing) people already using chemical treatments, will like the long term reliability and ease of use of the Miox pen. I've tested it in the field before the military got theirs, and can say, the MIOX pen is a real innovation! from summer market this year.
-
we didn't just give some real world info?? at least 2mm smaller than your rope, and don't use spectra.... is the microphone on?
-
...and because the first need is ugly, you don't like it, marylou? it is a purifier, (its the only mechanical purifier approved by the EPA and has been for the last 15 years, i thought this was about NEW stuff) but it clogs faster than other filters because the filters pores are smaller than others. other water filters are just that, filters. but, new things at summer market. well, wouldn't cha know, the miox pen brews up sodium chloride solution and this is a time tested aspect of municipal water treatment as well... but you are right mary lou, sometimes you really want to filter the water, because it's so ugly. like drinking out of mud puddles... so, the miox pen is one of the true innovations from summer market, and the bibler epic tents; also great advances in faqbrics technology, both is soft and hard shell technologies... we now see a gore tex suitable for tent canopies, but this was released already... also, much better soft shells from gore, Goreis also working on clothes with variable insulation, dialed in by the user...
