  1. Several reasons I dont visit Lworth as much these days..
  2. I do. Im not paying much money for a 16 page rag. Might as well be free.
  3. whatever dude. He doesnt harrass just parking violators. I think you need to meet the guy to understand. So obviously you dont know what you are talking about when it comes to this dude. If they dont want to publish it they can tell us. But I would not mind bringing some serious attention his way if I can. There's a TON of folks out here that have been harrassed by this one person. IT IS a climber issue but it may not be enviro... One could also argue that he should be patrolling securing the parking lot instead of harrassing the parkers who get their cars broken into.
  4. I think 16 pages is lame. There's a lot going on and it doesnt have to be new climbs for it to be interesting. Maybe at least 40 would be a better number.
  5. He's the only prick I have ever encountered but according to mattp his superiors approve of his work. He defines the word harrassment. By the way- what is the deadline because I would like to contribute about larry the tool.
  6. To call them moderate in size might be a stretch too. But he does make a couple of valid points.
  7. The northern selkirks have big granite. Not so chossy. But if there are xerox copies for sale I am on the wanters market.
  8. I noticed members were submitting in the recent CAJ and AAJ.
  9. Excellent points you made Dru. I'm sure you would have tons of people to contribute. A book or mag is best. I agree no online.
  10. I submit my first photo now. Put it on the cover
  11. A PRIME example of LOCAL ethics and climbers disagreement hehehe!
  12. Updating my list to include: Dome Peak or something in that area.. I am even game to climb in the Wack mountains area- Redoubt Rexford Illusion Peaks Border Peaks
  13. http://www.pollackphoto.com/us/pnw/default.htm I see a photo of lunger
  14. It has been snowing out there already... snow in Banff, Roger's Ass, and at the top of Red Mountain which is close to Gimli, but lower. It is supposed to warm up next week though so who knows? Cool. Well I have 3 days. I would like to climb something like Gimli or something a little farther away from the road in the Cascades if weather permits. Some things that come to mind are: Gimli South Ridge Something in Southern Pickets Cathedral Peak (fire permitting) NE Butthole of Goode Early Morning Spire Dorado Needle
  15. Yeah I noticed Mike Cleven had refernced that too. I wonder if it's his research.
  16. All you boneheads who wants to climb something. I wonder if Gimli has too much snow on it by now.
  17. Did you ever ask him why the names were changed? I sent a message but expect no response any time soon for a while since he is on the way to Cali.
  18. You can go to his shop in NOrth Bend for a photo. He sent me a digital one last year and it is a plumb wall. Steeper looking than Dragontail... Just call his shop. I know he used some pins etc and it was 5.9 but I lost the photo. Room for more and good for 5.9 and above free climbers I would be for new routes still.
  19. I dont agree with those lines. But if that's what you really think well it's finally in the open. It has nothing to do with "alpinist" in my opinion.
  20. Saggiscarious is a good climb. I don't think it's harder than 10a but it's a special that some people might not forget.
  21. This one looks pretty damn good. You can see it before the Jupiter Rock\Drury Falls area. I have heard of some more routes up there but they never want to include them in the Leavenworth guidebooks even though some people are climbing them. Bummer. A little dirt and adventure never hurts anyone that is ready for it. Dangle more carrots :-0
  22. I can say how icy the sherpa glacier is. So since I dont know I would say this quoted assumption is the best option.
