My favorite this weekend photo (share)

Gimp looks like fun. I've done that sucker as have millions it seems.. That low angle crack looks easy but is a tad bit greasy and was the crux for us. -
Bullshit. I'd spray on it if I thought I wanted to. There just seemed to be no topic or comment worth input. People dont give a fuck. I could log in as Joe Snuffy and spray all over it and you would not know it was me.

I will be skiing your "new route" on Silver Peak again this winter. Have fun on your 8000m peak.

Me too. Bitch !! I'll win all in person "debates".

Only for you. So I can pee in your butt

It could be said better or more simply but it is true. I agree. There are comments about bolting then the moderator removes what he/she sees unfit to the argument. Not necessarily based upon anything other than personal moderator opinion. The argument here is that this is a personal website sometimes. Then the other portrayal is that this is a public website for the better or everyone. It's just really a shitty corner of this website and really a false claim sometimes. It's the minor hitlerism of bolters and their safety sometimes. Read carefully bolt drillers. I am not against you every time.

Dru there are some historic areas of interest about the mountains with the thread concerning the N Cascades. BTW I recommend getting the Harry Majors prints. They ARE interesting to some and worth the reading. He sent me mine for free but I dont think they are in print. Thank you Harry. History is way more respecable and less interesting to sprayers. That is why you see less spray there. Although I am or may be guilty. As far as the logical debate on bolts- well it only seems as if it is logical when the BOLTERS that are also MODERATORS chime in and remove info that they seem UNFIT. This is not really debatable much IMHO. It seems there is no talk about the bolting issue when it gets heated. There is also no thought process for it here on CC.Com which I have indirectly pointed out for years. But whatever. The - thread- I dont know a thing about it. I never believed it. Apparently some did. Also apparently it touched the heart of one moderator at least. Which likely left this moderator with the want to leave his name in a new discussion to taint his name. I might agree. But to call some of my comments for some subjects out of line is kinda funny with all the above. Thanks for the comments dru.

Cpt.Caveman replied to Cpt.Caveman's topic in Climber's Board
THanks. I am so caveman smart This feature has probably existed for a year or so -
Make it an option? Minor annoyance. I rarely preview message.... I just want to post text 9 times out of ten. What do others think?
-
It varies day to day or season to season. This year I am getting off real cheap. One piton and one offset hb nut for safety.

Harry Pi, I enjoy reading your input. I don't feel a need to post a report of a route that gets climbed many times every year. I just thought I had an ok picture to share and wanted others that had a This weekend photo to share. Reason is saturday morning turned out to be a photogenic morning where I was and I believe in most parts of the Cascades. Probably a couple of good photos laying around on someone's computer worth viewing. Your Friend, Cpt.Caveman -

You'll have a good weekend.

Oh ok

Annuals are best hard-bound...? I disagree. The Canyucker Alpine Journal kicks serious ass and is softbound. Well done and it's worth the money. Hardbound=more money to pay....

the "dummy issue" PDF was used successfully by Alpinist to get started. Which might help in this case..

This is where we were busted Sat night. At 11:01 pm. How ironic. Alex Was he cordial With these tactics then it pushes people in to the often full campgrounds with Grammy and Grandpappy. What a viscious world it is. But that is a stupid place to camp IMHO. Not slamming anyone.
-
That's an interesting new tactic of harrassment for my ears. I did not think larry was around that late and if he was he should be concerned about security of cars considering my comments above. I dont camp in the campgrounds during peak season any more but I can feel the love of grammy and grampy getting a free ride for the season but I think it is a lesser issue than larry the tool... Which also leaves me subjected to meeting him on my next "illegal" bivy there. I recall earlier this season camping "illegally" and 2 rangers came by to notify us of the bridge going under construction and being nice fellows. Why can't more be like these 2 guys I met. I dont think they were the Law enforcement type...
-
Not a bad idea to get future printing volumes out there if it seemed a good work.
-
Yeah, and lets not forget him giving fee demo tickets while cars are getting broken into. Really, where can he be found when there is actually a crime being commited. Spot on. Although I bet the cars actually get broken into durin the night hours. But he IS a law enforcement official and breaking into cars and stealing personal items should be considered more of a problem than parking pass violators in my mind. I think most would agree. To think back over the last few years it seems anyone that climbs snow creek wall and parks in the fee parking lot might have run into this guy if they got unlucky. I bet there are about 15 people or more that could testify to this guy's harrassment. And just a few weeks ago I read about 20 cars or so getting windows smashed in and items stolen including wallets cell phones or whatever. Perhaps a simpler solution to aid or detract thievery there would be for a sherrif to make a number of stops in the night hours in the parking area..

If you've got any other issues you think deserve attention, please let me know so I can persevere to educate our viewers (and myself in process) about climbing and other issues that affect climbers even if they don't directly relate to climbing. I believe Larry falls into this area. Even hikers could be harrassed.

I agree.
