Ok Jay you can invest in Treasury Fund and I'll buy a house in Seattle - I'll reach financially (I'll try for a Jumbo Loan!) How does that sound? I'll hold the house until you get back and we can estimate the FMV (Zillow?) when you get back. We can use an actual sale in Seattle for my starting valuation. Why don't I restrict my choices to +-10% of the average Seattle house price?

Jayb - You're just describing a basic business cycle. I am somewhat confused by what you think the significance is. Let's wager $50 toward a pub club: I "buy" a home in modesto (very high foreclosure rate) and you could invest a similar amount in another investment and when you get back we see who has the greatest return. We hold our "investments" until your get back to Seattle. The guy with the lowest ROI buys the first round at your first or second Seatle pub club. ($50.00 max) If Modesto is a bad location, let's say I get my choice of a house a block or two from me. We can work out the details. For example instead of real estate I could invest in a company in a business similar to say Citigroup. I would even be willing to buy a house in Modesto in 2005 for my investment.

Jayb - You moving back here? I think you over play the whole sub-prime thing. So I ask as a practical matter what should I do to profit from the coming crash? (or has the crash already happened.) what shouldn't I avoid. I guess give me an example of a good investment and a bad investment as you read the situation.

Sometimes: Oh the joy when I awaken late at night and she snuggles me, I can still smell the other on her but I am stronger because she returns to me Othertimes:After I have been with another I can feel how much I really love her when I am so close to loosing her.

"Woman, it has gone too far. I can't bear it anymore," he tells the men to tell their wives. "If he beats her, the beatings must be light and must not make her face ugly. "Unfortunately, many husbands beat their wives only when they get mad, and when they start beating, it as if they are punching a wall – they beat with their hands, right and left, and sometimes use their feet. Brother, it is a human being you are beating. This is forbidden. He must not do this."

There is a lack of plasticity in wealth movement in the very top tier, and there is ample evidence to prove this. Of course, Republicans want to do away with the inheritance tax, which would further solidify this situation. Here's an interesting link. SC - Please help me out and direct me to section of your link addressing the issue I brought up. Is the disctinction between wealth and income important and why or why not? Gracias!

So if true Porter one would expect thet membership in the top 1% 5% to be fairly static. Can you find evidence supporting this? Why don't you start with 2005 then compare to 1980 then compare 1955. The consider the "robber barons" and their progeny.

Is our tax system primarily taxing wealth or income? Does it matter?

You lefties are so fucked up sometimes it’s hard to take. You and your narrow minded divisions. Republicans tend to be energetic optimistic passionate lovers of life. They refuse to be caught in your web of discrete definitions. He’s not gay he’s bi-sexual. His optimistic nature combined with his intense passion led him into a trap. Rather than see it as weakness, view it as a strength. By 3am I’m a sleep no matter what and he is alive, kickin’ and reachion’ out to his fellow citizen.

Amen brother! Another thing I hate is when women start dressing up to attract men (or women)! Pornography on feet. The sight of a women attempting to be attactive to the opposite sex (or same sex) is demeaning, and degrading all women including my mother, wife and daughter.

While all you cats were out climbing today I was stuck at work where I received this disturbing news: Another "freedom" taken away.

LOL Well how about the surrounding area. Hey Im just looking on a map

So what's the Gresham area like?

Here's my kind of discreet relationship: One of my climbing buddies use to "leave for work." He would stop by my house change his clothes. We'd head of to Index and climb until the early afternoon. We'd drive back to my house where he'd wash up put back on the shirt and tie and head home from the office. Until he finally was caught red handed!
-
For all you who are confused: He is referring to the MLB team not the mountain range! I hope his prediction comes true!

Climber's have become effete. The biggest topics are careers and relationships. WTF? To the extent these should even be discussed it is to the extent we've failed at them. EG: "Sure I can go climbing next week - I just lost my job and then my GF left me. MAybe we should spend the winter in J-Tree." Of course since the WORLD SERIES starts tonight we shouldn't even be talking about climbing!

Sorry to get serious but.... You know kids, I wish every mom and dad would make a speech to their teenagers and say kids, be free, be whatever you are, do whatever you want to do, just so long as you don't hurt anybody. And remember kids, I am your friend. I would just like to say that it is my conviction That longer hair and other flamboyant affectations Of appearance are nothing more Than the male's emergence from his drab camoflage Into the gaudy plumage Which is the birthright of his sex There is a peculiar notion that elegant plumage And fine feathers are not proper for the male When ac---tually That is the way things are In most species

I noticed you avoided the question of how he looks in a black dress!
