  1. Looks like you guys got lucky last weekend, damn it! it's dumpin snow here in eburg so I'm sure the same is true for lworth- Guess winter's not over-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Good thing I'm going to mexico next week [Moon]

  2. Angel is only 5.10A! I am a fat ass and I can send it, therefore, it can't be harder than 10A. Anybody ever fallen off of the second pitch (first move) of canary? -just curious. How 'bout crack of doom- any of you guys ever done it? I tried it and hung on every other piece. (I'll get her this year!)

  3. Personally, I use leavenworth ratings as a benchmark "that jtree 5.6 is lworth 5.9. that vantage 5.10 is lworth 5.8...blah blah...turn the radio up...check out that chick over there...is that capt caveman passed out over there...blah blah..." (my usual banter at the crags)

  4. Being a regular visitor to joshua tree (and an average climber) here is my "must do list" in the hidden valley campground area: The flake 5.8 (my personal favorite), north overhang bypass 5.7, (both on intersection), doublecross 5.7, dogleg 5.8, sexy grandma (not in the book- new route to the right of doublecross, probably 5.10 , geronemo 5.7- roof on the backside of dogleg *%##! wild!(all on the old woman) the flu 5.8, pinched rib 5.10b, the eye 5.0 (on the cyclops), and walk on the wildside 5.7+ (the longest route at jtree). Keep in mind that some of these rating will seem low- jtree is notorious for sandbagging.

Stay in the hidden valley campground- camping is free and sites are hard to come by. Bring lots of water, as there is none in the park. When in town, eat at santanas (in yucca valley) good cheap food! Have fun!!!!!

  5. actually, the 2nd pitch is supposed to be 5.7! I agree, on the 1st pitch lies the sandbag. You gotta remember, when most of the climbs were put up at castle, 5.9 was todays 5.14. So it was dry, huh? I'll be there in the next couple of days for sure! (if the weather holds up)

  6. I'm heading down to that area in a couple of weeks. Anyone been down there? Any suggestions? Cool ruins? Indigeonous cannibal tribes? I'm not really planning on climbing- just bush-whacking through the jungle and stuff. Is there any climbing around there?

  7. what (hickup) was this in response to? I've lived in eastern washington for 3 years now and a lot of my buddies have this "local' attitude- the funny thing is, we're all from the westside originally. The only difference is, we get to have the place to ourselves on the weekday I'll be a206'er again in another 4 monthes, climbin at the vertical world with lambone, trashin the pub clubs- lookout!

  8. It's about time. mad.gif" border="0 Yeah, that's pretty witty- your an animal posting on this website from your cage in the zoo- and you call my humor sub-par. rolleyes.gif" border="0 I thought you were going to be a worthy opponent. Next time, just keep your mouth shut. And calling me bolt boy? We've obviously never climbed together, whoever you are. ....Next?

  9. mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0 That's right- you figured me out. You know my real name and where I live. Maybe thats because I'm not too much of a pussy to leave my real information. The only info given out is that you are a furry little devil. The only furry little devil I know is the one between your girls legs, and I've gotten to know that one pretty well. Now it looks like You'll know what a pimp i am when you get slapped down in the street like the rest of my hoes. Now scammper off, you furry little turd- this here party for grown folk'- mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0
  10. mad.gif" border="0 Taz- I'VE BEEN OFF LINE FOR A WHILE- I'VE HAD BETTER THINGS TO DO, I'VE BEEN IN YOUR BED, WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND! YOU MUST BE HUNG LIKE SHAFFLEHOUND 'CAUSE IT TOOK ME A HALF HOUR JUST TO FIND THE THING. SHE BEGGED ME NOT TO LEAVE, BUT I FIGURED HEY, YOU CAN HAVE HER- SHE WASN'T THAT GOOD ANYWAY...WHEN I FIND YOU, I'M GONNA STICK MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS, YOUR GONNA BE BURPIN' VIBRAM FOR THE NEXT MONTH. mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0
  11. After much negotiation, The United States of America and I settled on a monetary fee of $5.00. (I never had to show up for court- I just talked to an intern on the phone) I think the fact that I flexed my ties to the Kascade Trad Klan may have given me a little more political persuasiveness. Thanks for all the input. rolleyes.gif" border="0
