  1. ok so i know the route will probably be doable but the thing i am wondering about is will the coleman be crossable around the 10th or 11th of august? i was thinking since we had such a big snowfall year that it might push the season on this climb back a couple weeks? yes? no? any info or thoughts would be great!

    thanks,

  2. go for it...the route is very straight foreward and if your comfortable with your abilities at that grade i am sure youll have no problem....crux is not commiting...its about 7-10 feet high. for the rest of the ridge its low 5th class....but this route is really fun. really fun...i am never going up the south face again...but shh dont spread the word to the mounties.

  3. Alright thanks for the information guys!

nope colin's got other plans this weekend, but i wish he would go climbing with me!

might give it a shot or might head to the moutains. i will post conditions if we do end up doing it.

    bring an ice axe? really?

    thanks again,

  5. Jump that bitch! true deep words cavey [Razz]

another idea is to buy a plane ticket to the alps and walk up the back side of the eiger and take one of those bat suit things and jump that bitch. what is it like a minute and half in the air just flyin! 6000ft! that seems like the ultimate jump.

another idea although i dont know how good it is. would a jump off willis wall work....i mean if you had one of those bat suits that make you glide. or is it way not steep enough? just thinking of big walls.

  6. MY COUSIN IS THE COOLEST!

ok in all seriousness....i have been climbing with colin for the past 2 years which is basically my entire climbing career, he has taught me most of what i know and he would never ever stoop to a low like that and lie.

just had to put my .2 cents in.

  7. Ced,

car camping is very doable. but be back at your car before mid day because that when the cop usually makes his rounds. We got back to the car and saw him closing in....so we wasted no time and we threw all our shit in the back our truck and got out of there before he could get to our car. i hear the tickets are big ones too [Frown]

    have fun,
