shapp Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Anyone know who carries powers five piece bolts around Portland? Just need a few for non-climbing related installation. Thanks Shap Quote
diepj Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I don't know for sure about Powers 5-piece specifically, but give Portland Fasteners out in NW a call. They have tons of stuff and if not the Powers something else appropriate for your application. If you're wanting a 5-piece simply because you're familiar with it from climbing know that the construction and engineering community has moved beyond these for structural applications, particularly when fastening to concrete. Teh Phuzzy Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 (edited) or ClimbMax looks like they might have some in store on NE Broadway. They are anchor bolts, just a different style and I figure they might work. http://www.climbaxe.com/truboltwedgeexpansionanchors.aspx Edited April 8, 2016 by Teh Phuzzy Quote
shapp Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Using in rock for safety application, just like climbing, but not actually climbing. Want the powers 5 piece cause we will need to remove in a few years. Quote
MrGecko Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Try the AntiGravity outfit located in the Beaverton gym. Quote
mksportn Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 You might consider buying some Legacy Bolts from ClimbTech. Super easy to remove when needed. Quote
