Index Aid - Friday or Saturday

Anyone want to do some aid climbing at index Friday or Saturday? Wx is questionable, but Saturday looks the best.

How hard are you looking at aiding? Trying to get some more experience in aid climbing

If you cut down a few trees you could probably drive right to the base of the wall.

I'm surprised it made it this long without a comment. I don't currently own a chainsaw, so unfortunately I can't ... Anyway, the 3-min walk in is a good warmup for the 5.6 GNS and the easy aid climbs, I'd hate to start climbing too cold ...

You will notice that most aid done at Index is done solo. I can't see putting a belayer through hours of that drudgery. Last time I was aiding there were 5 other soloists!! Good thing there is lots of routes to choose from.

Good point Wayne. We were both pretty new (ie first time doing pure aid), so it was good to have a little backup and support. I can see doing most of the rest of the aid climbing solo, at least on smaller stuff, like at Index.
