Does anyone know of any toprope-able ice near Yakima?

Because of the dryer/warmer weather this area is probably relatively unknown.

How about up White Pass? We're going to be in the area and would like to get in some laps. We're not feeling super confident in placing pro though, so toprope is preferable to a must.

It's been super dry and relatively warm over here in Yakima until just recently. If there is any ice, it's gonna be sketchy.

As of last weekend, Clear Creek was mostly melted-out, I doubt Little Naches has any ice (needs to be wetter). Even Strobach has been dry this year.

Hope this helps.

internet says its super cold there now - and with the lack of snow this season..

why not take your chances and try to hike up some hiking trails on or near the north side of rimrock lake?

or go see what you can find in the bumping lake area

if all you want to do is a top-rope, there are all kinds of short seeps in all kinds of places

you could TR First on the Left, Sudden Change of Plan, or Sad Ce'bu if you can keep your energy going and hike up the gully and around to the top. Its totally doable. Just need the Mo Jo.
