wayne Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Trip: 6 Sierra Classics(Needles, Tuolumne, Hulk) - Date: 7/3/2013 Trip Report: I was able to keep the streak of classics going on my time off work, joining Lane on a week-long trip to the Sierras. We did Airy Interlude, Igors, and Thin Ice in the Needles. Then Blown Away and Oz In Tuolumne. Then ended up on Positive Vibrations on the Incredible Hulk. Couldn't ask for a better line-up for a week of climbing! If these routes aren't on your list, correct that error! More on personal journal Quote
keenwesh Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 you need to get on the venturi effect if you thought positive vibes wasn't sustained! Too bad I missed you. Quote
wayne Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 I know, huh? The 1st and last pictures are a party on VE. Quote
keenwesh Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I'll add to the pictures, here I am following the crux pitch on PV, starts with a thin stemming corner to a slippery wet lieback to a funky flaring buldge. after that is a 10d fingers section and finally this, thin steep and exposed 11a to the belay. Full value and 5 stars! Quote
billcoe Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Way to get it done Wayne! You guys look like you got a superb high mileage/high value trip in. Awesome. Running sierra laps at altitude? How many pitches of vertical was that? Quote
wayne Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Thanks Bill! I am up to over 200 pitches for the 2 months now Quote
