Smith this weekend? (from Portland)

Supposed to be nice out there.

 

My usual climbing partner might be a little too masochistic to enjoy sport (and trad) climbing on sun-warmed rocks (i.e. he's into alpinism of late); if he can't make it I'm still looking at getting out to Smith this Saturday to climb; also spend night at campground on Sat. night and climb again Sunday before heading back to Portland Sunday evening. Ride, gear, etc. all provided (I have a day job now). Looking to climb mainly easier sport (sub 5.10) but if you have a harder project you want to try I'm happy to belay and have a trad rack you can use too. I just want to get in the sun and fresh air.

I'm headed to Smiff Friday eve with the kiddos, which means I can't likely do long trad but clipping bolts will be ok. Look me up at the bivi site, old school yellow TNF exp. tent.

Deciding whether to drive the truck, or car, one more passenger would make the truck more Economical. Who needs a ride to Smith?

Plot thickens for me. Now that I spent all afternoon packing up for the weekend with the kiddos, my oldest is getting sick. I'm now likely going solo if anyone wants a ride from PDX/Gorge. I was going to leave Friday mid-late afternoon.

I was going to have a couple prints made at Ye Olde Print Shop next to my office. I'll mail you a C.d. too. I tried to email them one at a time but that got tedious very fast.

You gotta put 'em on facebook or photobucket... you can upload 'em all at once, put them into a trip album, and then your homies can just pull the ones they want. Like how I do it..
