rl23455 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Talked to my friend in the gym, he was following on Pack Animal, 2nd pitch when a huge rock pulled off. The jug holds just before anchors. No one was hurt, no one was below. Am interested to find out how the route has changed. Quote
KirkW Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Did this happen early Sunday afternoon? We were heading over asterisk pass when we heard the impact. Since we didn't hear any screaming we figured no one was hurt but that fucker sounded like a bomb when it hit. It scared the shit out of us. Quote
Off_White Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Buddies were climbing right next door, sounds like it was a block the size of a microwave oven. Really lucky no one got hurt, it was a busy weekend. Quote
Drederek Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Yeah we were just done with Headless and getting ready to go up Equinimity when it came down. It landed pretty near the base of PA and left some scars on the John Galt Line. Some fellow washingtonians were on the other side from us and said they saw some fragments spraying their way. I'm glad noone was under it, it wouldn't have been pretty. Quote
