Is that for real?

Don't know that one, but some Index grades should be taken with a large grain of salt. Case in point: the "10c" direct start to GM.

My first time seriously back at Index in literally years and I got a good dose of WTF!

i seem to recall 11b as the grade....

11b overall yes, but I was curious about just the first arete, "10d".

Ahh well, its a classic Index conundrum regardless
