HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico (AP) -- The Air Force has grounded a fighter pilot who accidentally dropped three dummy bombs, including one that fell on a house.

The pilot did not know his F-117A stealth fighter was carrying the 25-pound practice bombs as he targeted trash bins and other structures during a training exercise Tuesday, the pilot's wing commander said.

"This is not the way we do business, and we're very disappointed it happened," Brig. Gen. Marc Rogers said.

The pilot, whose name was not released, dropped the bombs on a home in Monahans, Texas, and near roads in Pecos, Texas, and Maljimar, New Mexico. No one was injured.

He was suspended pending an investigation.

Rogers said training flights are routinely flown around the Southwest using cameras to simulate bombs aimed at targets, sometimes in populated areas.

Rogers said a routine preflight check, performed by pilots and maintenance personnel, includes an inspection of the bomb bay. But other factors, including a mechanical failure in the plane, may have caused the accident, he said.

One of the practice bombs went through a home's roof and into a bathroom, plowing six feet into the ground. Rogers said the Air Force will repair the home.

I have it on good authority that this was no "accident." The house that was bombed belongs to Texplorer's parents. This was obviously a mafia-style message. You see, Texplorer has been getting pretty vocal with the Federal Government regarding illegal snafflehound importation by certain dubious central asian shadow governments. It is his/our belief that these shadow governments are actually CIA black corporations skimming money off of the child-labor driven poppy harvest trade. Well, he must have pissed off the wrong people on Capitol Hill and now their threatening his family in an effort to get him to shut up. Texplorer needs your help, he is a modern-day revolutionary. If he shows up at your house in the middle of the night with an armload of furry, purring animals needing to "disappear" for awhile, let him in.

The snafflehounds will thank you.

I know you mean well, Trask, but our movement has suffered due to the laissez-faire attitude of individuals like yourself. The plight of the snafflehound is dire and quite serious. We will fight on and hope that others hear our cry...

Speaking of all these mutated dangerous animals, I just read about 100 lb. introduced Asian carp that are working their way up the Mississippi towards Lake Michigan. They can jump 10 feet out of the water. They will destroy the entire eco system of the Great Lakes, eating everything in their path. Water skiiers and personal watercraft operators be warned. [Eek!]

The really frightening part is how they got there. Some good 'ol boys in Arkansas (are they any other kind in Arkansas?) got ahold of them to eat all the shit out of the bottom of their ponds where they are farming catfish. During some flooding the carp got loose and started making their way upstream.
