Wikipedia:Following the attacks of 11 September, Gaddafi made one of the first, and firmest, denunciations of the Al-Qaeda bombers by any Muslim leader. Gaddafi also appeared on ABC for an open interview with George Stephanopoulos, a move that would have seemed unthinkable less than a decade earlier. I guess nobody else wants him around either or why would he want to stay? Quote

Gaddaffi let it be known he is not too happy about the Tunisian revolt, probably because it just might give ideas to the Lybian people of what to do with a dictator. There is an interesting parallel in how we tolerated Baby Doc's dictatorship, and that of Ben Ali (Tunisia's former dictator) yet we managed to give the boot manu militari to wildly popular Aristide.
