We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Millet Packs in town

Recommended Posts

My jaw nearly dropped yesterday when looking at that large R** company's website, they are now carrying quite a few of the technical Millet packs. If you are under 5'11", they are some of the best technical climbing packs (including custom jobs) made in the world. I think they have the Patrick Gabarrou Model available. Since I haven't been in to the flagship store, I am not sure what the selection is. (I would buy more but I already own three of them).

If you buy one, you better not be a wanker climber..... don't ruin the image!

There are usually a few Millet packs for sale among the mix over at Marmot Mountain Works. It's true enough though... Many of their models are not designed for tall people. Midgets or Giants, it's all a matter of perspective...but if they fit, they rock!
