Trip Report:

Skied up to the Chair Peak col just to check it out. Conditions were stable, but the most recent snow is over a slight crust and will be forming a little slab as it gets sun this weekend. I'd be concerned about climbing the upper slopes.

Went up there on Sunday and got under the N face. Much of the snow in your picture has blown off leaving ice that was not formed enough for us to climb comfortably. I'll go back in a couple months. Unfortunately my camera died and I don't have pictures.
