Dane Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 They both look pretty cool...Scottish Tale would seem to be a new coastal classic. Thanks for the heads up. Quote
G-spotter Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Scottish Tale has been a coastal classic since '96. I guess new depends how old you are though. Quote
Dane Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Get old enough and almost anything is new. Quote
Don_Serl Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Rich and Nick climbed A Scottish Tale behind the Chief nicely done - a hell of a lot thinner than the couple times I've been up it - pretty challenging in early season... Matt finally redpointed his Smoke Bluff Wall mixed project, along with Tim Emmett wow, just a bit strenuous, eh? shame the ice comes and goes (mostly 'goes') so quickly in Squam. Quote
marc_leclerc Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 The ice hung around enough for me to go climb Nintendo 64 this morning. It took good screws, and the ice was mostly good. Part of the curtain at the crux halfway up had snapped in the last couple days. So there is was not much for feet other than squeezing the hanging dagger between your knees! Felt like WI5+ but it was also my first lead this season... so I might just be soft. Quote
