We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Man what a fun route. Is the water taxi over Saddlebag lake not running anymore? With the taxi it becomes an easy one-day.

Water taxi was running for the two days we were in there but it's seriously not necessary- didn't time it but it's got to be less than an hour to walk around the lake.

I don't know how long it runs but I'll bet if you call Tioga Pass Resort, they'd know or at least know who to call and find out. They make a great breakfast BTW...

There are bivy restrictions in the research area and we knew we were close but we weren't in it (as best as we could tell).

Gorgeous area though.
