Hawkeye Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 My Grandma lives by the sound and has a great view of the Olympic Mountains from her deck. She asked me if I could find a picture of the mountains with the peaks labeled so she knew what mountains she was looking at, so far I haven't had much luck, and I'm not familiar enough with those mountains to make one myself. If anyone knows where I could find such a beast, I'd be grateful, Thanks. Quote
Sherri Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 location of granny's deck may help... True dat. View changes quite a bit depending on where your lounge chair is parked. Quote
everyfrog Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 If you call or go to the Olympic National Park/Forest Ranger Station in Quilcene, they have a HUGE poster that shows the entire range of the Olympics, as viewed from Seattle. Pretty much 99% of all peaks are labeled. It's a pretty awesome poster. May be a little bigger than what Granny wanted but will definitely answer her questions. Quote
Lazyboy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Take a look at this Pargeter Map. It shows the peaks and names them. It might be just what your Grandma is looking for. Hope this helps. Quote
