Has anyone hit up banks lake yet this season? Some friends and I are thinking about hitting it up on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd. None of us are experienced lead ice climbers, so we were curious if there was any top rope routes available out there. If not, any recommendations where we could find some around central Washington? Half of us are from Whidbey, the other half from Spokane so were trying to meet up in the middle as best we can...

My Grandma lives by the sound and has a great view of the Olympic Mountains from her deck. She asked me if I could find a picture of the mountains with the peaks labeled so she knew what mountains she was looking at, so far I haven't had much luck, and I'm not familiar enough with those mountains to make one myself. If anyone knows where I could find such a beast, I'd be grateful, Thanks.

Now I dont want to drop names to assert my extreme awesomeness, but this whole thing reminds me of the time John Muir and I climbed Denali last January in our shorts and T-shirts. We figured our legs were hairy enough to get us there. Unfortunately we had to amputate our legs, and we bled out on the mountain.
