ken4ord Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 That was freaking rad, some realy cool stuff there, I especially like the parkour sort of stuff that was done on larger drops. That backflip off the tree was way cool. Hell, I would be happy to pull off an 180 off some steps, still practicing riding in reverse. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I ripped it up at at tolt for the first time today....pretty fun. when you headed back this way ken...i'm gonna have a full suspendy rig here soon. Quote
ken4ord Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I don't know when I will be back, but we might return at the end of the year if Misti's job is no longer funded. We'll see. It would be great to be back in PNW and do some decent riding. I have fun here, but it definitely is not like riding in the PNW. Whatcha gonna get? Quote
olyclimber Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Gralbraith! http://www.galbraithmt.com/gallery/gallery3.htm Quote
ken4ord Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Superlight, ah. That wouldn't do for me I think I would break that in no time. They are a fun zippy little xc ride. My next bike is going to be the Nomad or BLT (Blur LT). I can't decide, I guess it will depend on where I go. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 i would love an LT2, i don't have that kind of coin for a bike! i'm just looking forward to riding with modern equipment (disk brakes, rear suspension) Quote
ken4ord Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Disc brakes are key, I love being able to have the contol that I have with them. Splurge and get hydraulic disc brakes, mechanicals feel like rim brakes IMO. Full sus is nice too and the supalite make good use of the suspension, unlike other xc rigs. Quote
denalidave Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 WOW! I'm hoping to get rid of my training wheels this year. Quote
