Jim Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I recently picked some up that I can use for snow travel, biking, whatever, at this place. Helpful knowledgable folks. Went with transition lens that seems to work well. http://opticus.com/ Quote
Vickster Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I checked out Opticus last year. However, I couldn't find a manufactured frame that fit my face well. I ended up going with some custom prescription glacier goggles from: http://www.atomefabrik.com/pages_goggles/glaciers.htm The quality of these goggles is exceptional and they look pimp. Quote
Zoran Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) I have pair of WileyX for climbing and biking. Blink Lenses are done in their facility in CA. I am very happy with design. Also, I own Brick model but my prescriptions couldn't fit in. I don't know the reason. Edited June 13, 2009 by Zoran Quote

You think those look "pimp"? They look like my old welding goggles. I guess if you go with the entire "industrial" look complimented with a required "Neubauten" tattoo on the side of you freshly shaved head... Quote

No... everyone who has seen me wear them thinks they are pimp. I had them made because I wanted some old school looking glacier goggles that would be made with higher quality than old school goggles. CanadaClimber Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I had been having a hard time find the lens type I needed for ice climbing especially since I have a more difficult prescription but I found Arctek Eyewear and they specialize in glacier glasses. I was really happy with the glasses and the guy who took my call was really patient with me. I had a ton of questions because I wanted to be sure I received what would really meet my needs. You should check them out. Arctek Eyewear Quote
