Set comes with barely used skins, Silvretta bindings I got from Austria and they were unused. a small crack on plastic underfoot on one binding but no impact on release functionality. This short skis (130cm) setup is good mountaineering set and you could use it as approach skis here at PNW. size "N" (normal) sole length from 290 mm to 345 mm Asking $400. Skis
  5. I have Silvretta 404 on Hagan's 130 Extreme but till can't figure out how to ski safely downhill in climbing boots. It is terrifying experience. Jake I also hope La Sportiva (or Scarpa?) can do something in that field.

  11. I am not sure any of this boots will fit you. Have you done any research to see are they wide or narrow in last? You have to see on-line since here in North America Boreal and Lowa are not widely distributed. Or I am mistaken... However, I think you need Scarpa boots. Something like Triolet Pro or Jorasses Pro. I have Triolet and they are so goood. But my feet are more D than 2E. I am not sure how wide are yours? It's unfortunate Mont Blanc are not what you are looking for. They are so good!
  12. No I haven't used it so far. I have two layers from La Sportiva but not jacket.
  13. It's very good shell. But ... There is a catch! You are an American and if you go for it, you have to wear European style colours. :-) Just kidding! What I meant to say I believe there are no gray colours for this jacket in NA this season. If you decide to go for it, you have to go for blue and red. Also, there is no hood? Is this problematic for you? I for some reason always look for jackets with hood. However, I am pretty much bold so I have issues with being warm.
  14. Or you can consider new La Sportiva Lux? Lux
  15. Millet 3D WDS Composite Jacket could be the answer but still have some fleece lining and that is not what you want.
  16. Eric, My bag is Pieps bivvy bag. Single version... I have it on my day trips always. Not only in case I need it. Pieps made it for backcountry trips but I carry it in summer too. Maybe someone else will need it if get stranded and I have to go for help. In winter could be used as drag bag/carry bag to move injured person. It's waterproof and compact. Pieps bag

  20. It's heavy. It is outer sweater. It's not windproof. I am using it under the lightweight shell (something like Marmot Aegis) as heavy mid layer. Doesn't have a thumb holes but sleeves are slightly longer. Dries quickly and is very warm.
  21. I don't own synthetic hoody and can't talk about that ... Merrino? Icebreaker Sierra Hoody - Merino Real Fleece It's really something exceptional for the winter. I own one and it's awesome.
  22. What's wrong with us in Vancouver BC? :-) We have a two clubs and they will be thrilled to have your presentation. Think about it ...
