hkrhnk11 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I was thinking about putting some of those Grivel finger rests on my Quarks. It looks like I'll have to cut off some of the rubber on the grip. Anyone have any experience with this? Quote
powdrx Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I bought some last week and attached them over the top of the rubber based on my grip. Works pretty good for hanging around my garage. But I didn't make it out on the ice yet. Quote
Choada_Boy Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Here's a thought: use the grip rests designed for the Quarks. They may actually fit! Quote
Dane Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Depends on what you want, "trigger" or second grip. A couple of other threads here showing both options people have added. Here is what I use, a Grivel slider cut down for a second grip much like my Nomic. Super solid fit and didn't have to cut anything on the tool. FYI, using a single trigger is a good way to tear a finger tendon if it isn't set up correctly, as is too using too wide of a "trigger" separating the fingers too much in the hand. hkrhnk11 Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 Thanks Dane, that's exactly what I was looking for. I had tried on the Grivel finger rests, which would only fit so low on the grip that they'd have to be used as triggers, wouldn't work for a second grip. Quote
