iamgr8er Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Monday the 6 2008 Snow creek wall 8 am. 5 pitches We got rained on, it was cold, it was slick, and it was great. This late in the year there isn't a lot of traffic on this wall; we shared it with one other team. It got a little tight a few times but everyone was super cool. This climb isn't for the faint of heart, as we were hiking in. Search and rescue was mid process helping a pair of climbers off the route, after spending the night up there. That must have been cold. I guess everyone was fine. I'm sure there pride was damaged a bit. You live you learn, and like these two sometimes you just get lucky. Search and rescue said the climber couldn't finish the climb, got off route, and then ran out of day light. And with no head lamps were screwed. Pm me if you want to go climbing this week I’m open.
