Snow near Ingalls?

Might be going up to Ingalls for some mellow climbing this weekend.

 

Is there snow on the slopes up from the lake to the face still? I was up there late July and there was still tons.

You might be able to find some snow to get into if you really wanted, but it looked like easy skankin' last weekend. Curiously, there was a persistent snowpatch way down on the hill across from the climb up to Ingalls Pass, I'm pulling for that little puppy to hang in there until the next snow season starts, so let me know how it's holding up.

are you talking about the snow below esmeralda? its still there as of wednesday. and the only snow on the slope up to ingalls is below that mini ridge you follow up. otherwise no real snow.

there are a couple of tiny patches on the north side.
