Dave_Schuldt Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Almost, didn't like the step across from snow to rock a top of glacier. Some trees down on trail, cleared a few on the way down with pocket folding saw. Snow was soft and slow. Took us 13 1/2 hours. Slide show. Quote
Noodle Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I was one of the other group of 3 out that day. Thanks for kicking steps up to High Pass and to the summit! Pictures here Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted June 19, 2008 Author Posted June 19, 2008 Holy crap! Dave Schuldt climbs? Used to do a fair amount but the past few years I've been skiing, mountain biking and trail work. Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 you've got some awesome photos there Dave. nice work! Quote
JoshK Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Wow, that transition from snow to rock looks totally different than it did when I climbed Whitehorse in a normal snow year. I had to waddle/crawl myself up on to the rock, but it was all of 3 feet. It looks real nasty now. Quote
