montdo Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hello - I need help! Currently in Afghanistan, its 130+ degrees and Im surrounded by mountains I cannot access. I will be home at the end of July for a few weeks and really would like to touch snow again, and perhaps get in a few turns somewhere - even if the snow is poor. Any suggestions about where might be good? Will St. Helens have enough snow on it to make a descent??? Any help is greatly appreciated! Justin PS - If you have great advice it would help if you fwd to justinsnet@yahoo.com as my access here is poor and I dont access this site often. Quote
crazy_t Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Go to Turns All Year, tons of NW tr's daily from this big PNW snow year that should give you access to some solid turns this July. Rally! Quote
AlpineK Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I've skied Rainier in August. At the time it wasn't the best ever, but it was pretty good. This is a good year to be out skiing till late in the summer. Quote
